David Marvin Ayers, 46, of Allison, Iowa, passed away January 6, 2010, at his home in Allison, Iowa. He was born November 4, 1963, in Hampton, Iowa, to Kenneth and Sheryl (Hansen) Ayers. David graduated from the Dumont High School. He married Connie Allen on April 11, 1987, in Nashua, Iowa. David was a self employed truck driver, working up to his diagnosis of cancer in April of 2008. He was saved on February 23, 1981 in Stout, Iowa, and attended the Faith Baptist Church in Hampton, Iowa, and was a member of the Second Chance Motorcycle Club since April of 2007. David enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, attending and fellowship at AA meetings and watching his nieces and nephews in sports activities.
He is survived by his wife Connie Ayers of Allison, son Dustin and wife Anna Ayers of Cleveland, Tennessee, parents Kenneth & Sheryl Ayers of Bristow, brother Brian & wife Lori Ayers of Dumont, sister Tami Howey of Dumont, brother Jamey & wife Bridget Ayers of Dumont, maternal grandmother Shirley Hansen of Aredale, mother-in-law Bonnie and husband Duffy Gangsei of Allison, sister-in-law Tanya Reeser of Allison, sister-in-law Leah & husband Jason Lewis of Dumont, sister-in-law Mindy & husband Patrick Nolan of Allison, father-in-law: Tim & wife Darcy Allen of Sartell, Minnesota, his nieces and nephews;Kendra Howey; Bailey, Kalen, Ava and Ahna Ayers; Ty Lewis; Mitchell and Shelby Reeser, Taylor and Jersie Nolan and baby Nolan expected in March, and a great niece Lexus Howey.
David was preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Ayers; aunt, Betty Swieter; aunt Donna Harper; maternal grandfather, Marvin Hansen; paternal grandfather, Paul Ayers and paternal grandmother, Maxine Ayers.
